Ann - Office Manager

Ann is our caring office manager! She has been with Dr. Schimon since 2014 when she began her career as a dental assistant after attending the Ross Dental Institute. Previously she worked as a manager and a hair stylist utilizing her cosmetology license. She loves putting a smile on our patients faces. She is originally from Saginaw and currently lives in her home in Montrose. Ann is incredibly proud of her son Josh and her daughter Madison and loves spending time with her german shepard puppy Barkley. When she's not caring for our patients she enjoys kayaking, gardening, and playing putt putt. Her happy place is the beach and she particularly enjoys visiting the dunes of Silver Lake, MI.

Denice - Hygienist

Denise is our Friendly Hygienist! She has been expertly helping people in this field since 2002 and has been with us since 2023. She greatly contributes to our patient oriented environment  bringing her friendly personality. Denise is a strong believer that building a trusting relationship greatly improves patient understanding as well as communication. She currently lives in Flint with her husband of 37 years where she was born and raised. She loves spending time with her two daughters and four grandbabies. When she’s not caring for our patients, she is creating beautiful cakes with her daughter. She also enjoys spending her time reading, gardening and planning her next vacation.

Shawne - Dental Assistant and Receptionist

Shawne is our detail oriented dental assistant and receptionist. She has been caring for patients in a variety of roles at various specialty offices since 1993. Prior to becoming a dental assistant she worked for a goldsmith whom she credits for her detailed methodology. She is fascinated with all things regarding science. Shawne loves applying the latest innovations as well as techniques to better help our patients. Shawne is very passionate about building relationships with our patients and increasing their dental understanding. She was originally from Flint and after living in various places around the state she has returned to her hometown. She enjoys spending time watching sci-fi movies with her sons Gage and Connor and her cats Mochi and Sesame.
